These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of https://www.leftycoils.com (the “Site”) and to any purchase you make from Chuck Mack Design (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us. We sell and ship only to addresses in the United States.

2. Products

We sell Lefty, a steel coil pour-over coffee dripper, as a single unit or a 3-pack. We try to describe and show the product accurately. Because Lefty is handmade or finished by hand, small differences in color, finish and appearance may occur. [Delete that sentence if it doesn’t apply.]

Brewing results vary. How your coffee turns out depends on the grind, the filter, the vessel, the water temperature and your technique. Lefty is designed for #2 V60 filters. Other filters may work, but we can’t guarantee that they will fit or perform well.

3. Safety

  • During and after brewing, Lefty and the liquid poured through it will be very hot. Handle it carefully and use a stable, heat-resistant vessel.

  • Keep it away from children.

  • Use Lefty only for brewing coffee.

  • Inspect it before each use. Stop using it if it is damaged or deformed.

You are responsible for using the product safely and as intended.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it or ship it. We may cancel an order and refund you in full, for example if:

  • the product is out of stock

  • the price or product information contains an error

  • we suspect fraud or unauthorized use

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.

  • Sales tax is added at checkout where required.

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

6. Shipping

  • Processing: we usually ship orders within [X] business days.

  • Carriers: we ship within the U.S. by [USPS / UPS / FedEx]. Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

  • Timing: delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Your address: check it carefully. We are not responsible for orders sent to an address you entered incorrectly.

  • Lost or damaged packages: if your package arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive, email us within [7] days of the expected delivery date. We’ll work with you and the carrier to make it right.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • Unused items: you may return unused items in their original packaging within [30] days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. [Return shipping is paid by the customer / We provide a prepaid label.]

  • Defective or damaged items: if your item arrives defective or damaged, contact us within [14] days of delivery. We’ll replace it or refund you, and we’ll cover return shipping.

  • How to return: email chuckmack@gmail.com with your order number before you send anything back. Returns we haven’t authorized may not be accepted.

  • Refund timing: approved refunds go back to your original payment method within [10] business days after we receive the return.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Except where Section 7 says otherwise, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow implied warranties to be disclaimed, so this section may not fully apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products.

  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product involved.

Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Lefty name, the product design, and all photos, text and other content on the Site belong to Chuck Mack Design or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or sell any of it without our written permission.

11. Use of the Site

You agree not to use the Site for anything unlawful. You also agree not to interfere with how the Site works, or to try to access it in ways we haven’t authorized.

12. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [County], [State], unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
